INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL-CONFERENCE “TARAPOV READINGS”
dedicated to the 150-th anniversary of Department of Theoretical and Aplied Mechanics

International school-conference “Tarapov Readings”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics
will be held at V.N.Karazin Kharkov National University.
Previous conferences “Tarapov Readings” held in 2008, 2011 and 2012
were attended by more that 800 participants from Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, France, Germany, Great Britain, USA, Lithuania, Hungary and Poland.
Proceedings of the conferences have been published as a book series «Contemporary problems of mathematics, mechanics and computing sciences» and indexed in
the Google Scholar and some scientometric databases. The referats have been published in the “Referativny Journal” (Russia).
The conference is aimed at exchange of the novel results obtained by the researchers in different areas of mathematics, mechanics and computing
sciences, mathematical modeling of the processes and phenomena in the physical, mechanical, chemical, biological, technical, ecological and social
systems. The conference programme includes plenary lectures on the advanced topics of modern mathematics, mechanics and informatics, parallel sessions and symposia.

Registration of the participants will take place on September 29-30, 2013 in the main building of V.N.Karazin Kharkov National University
(Svobody square, 4, 1-st floor, main hall). Accommodation will be organized in the hotels in the walking distance from Kharkov National University.
For students and PhD students cheap accommodation in the dormitories and hostels will be arranged.
Opening ceremony will be held on September 30; the plenary lectures (45 min = 40-min lecture + 5 min for discussions),
oral presentations (20 min = 15-min presentation + 5 min for discussions) and poster presentations are planned, as well as rich social programme.

Information on the acceptance will be sent to the registered participants before September 15, 2013.
Registration fees will be equivalent to 70 UAH. It includes access to all scientific sessions, conference proceedings and materials, coffee breaks. The fees can be paid at the registration desk.
